Privacy notice
Updated 17 September 2026
Pre-launch draft. Operator details and these policies must be finalized before the service accepts customer data.
What Gapr does
Gapr is a managed business marketplace for manufacturing capacity. This notice describes information used when you browse capacity, manage a business workspace, request production work, quote, or communicate about a request.
Information we use
When you sign in with Google, we receive your account identifier, email address, and basic profile details. We also process business and membership information, public listing details, private RFQs and quotes, messages, files, verification evidence, and transaction outcomes you provide. We do not receive your Google password.
Technical records may include request timing, errors, security events, and service-provider connection logs. We use essential session cookies and temporary browser storage to keep a guest RFQ draft in the current tab.
Why we use it
We use this information to authenticate users, manage business access, publish approved capacity, manually match requests with providers, support quoting and communications, verify evidence, record outcomes, prevent abuse, and respond to support requests.
Who can access it
Approved listing information is public. Private records are available to authorized members of the relevant business, eligible participants in a transaction, and authorized Gapr staff as required by the workflow. A private draft is not made public. Verification documents are not public.
Hosting, database, authentication, storage, and transactional email providers process information needed to operate the service. Private files are scanned for malware in a controlled processing environment. Gapr does not sell your personal information or use your private RFQs for advertising. A verification badge describes a review; it is not a guarantee of a business or transaction.
Storage and retention
Service providers may process information outside your country. Production processing locations and retention periods will be published before launch. We retain information needed for active marketplace services, security, disputes, and applicable recordkeeping. Removing access to a workspace does not necessarily delete records needed by other transaction participants.
Your choices and requests
You can review your profile and business settings in your account. Contact us to request access, correction, deletion, withdrawal of optional consent, or help with a privacy concern. We may need to verify your identity and authority over business records. We will explain any records that cannot be deleted and the reason. You may stop using the service; obligations related to an existing transaction remain between its participants.
Security and changes
We restrict access by business membership and transaction participation, keep private files outside public listings, and use short-lived download links. No service can guarantee absolute security. We will update this notice when data practices change and communicate material changes through the service.
